Whilst
each assignment undertaken is unique, the research process can be broadly
defined as follows:
Briefing meeting with consultant and if possible, their client to gain
a thorough understanding of the business, it's culture, the job description
and person specification.
Preparation and submission of a target list of companies that are most
likely to provide appropriate candidates.
Detailed research carried out into each relevant company to identify
the names and job titles of all appropriate personnel.
This identification report is submitted to the Consultant for review
and approval.
Approaches are made to all prospective candidates. Potential sources
are approached as part of the 'recommendation seeking' that accompanies
every assignment.
Submission of CV(or CV details) of those individuals who have expressed
an interest in the opportunity and who match the client's specifications.
Recruitment Consultant interviews/selects candidates for inclusion
in their short list.
